NU Unruh (actually Andrew Chudy ; born June 9, 1957 in New York City , USA ) is a German musician , experimental percussionist and instrument maker who is best known for his role as a sound engineer for the band Einstürzende Neubauten .
biography
In 1980 NU Unruh founded the band Einstürzende Neubauten with Blixa Bargeld , Gudrun Gut and Beate Bartel . In this group, Unruh usually plays on self-made percussion instruments and drums. In 2000 Unruh released his first and so far only solo album Euphorie in the Age of Digital Information Transfer .
