The beer taps

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The beer taps are a German comedy duo from Saxony consisting of Holger K. "Blumi" Blum (* December 22, 1964 ) and Hans-Jörg "Hans-Jürschn" Hombsch (* October 5, 1961 ). Their main venue is the Radeberger Biertheater , where they have appeared since 2002 in the post-program to the performances of the theater events there. The Radeberger Biertheater is also a performance venue for many of their solo programs. With the increasing popularity of the beer theater and the duo, their performances also shifted far beyond the borders of Saxony.

history

The beer taps were originally installed by Peter Flache in order to create a musical and humorous contribution to the post-program to the performances of the Radeberger Beer Theater. In the beginning, alongside the two main actors Holger Blum and Horst Zellmann, their wives were often on stage. A concentration originally planned for 2004 on the "Radio Rabubl Revival Band", of which both were members, was rejected again. Instead, since autumn 2004, Hans-Jörg Hombsch has been a new “beer tap” at the side of founding member Blum. With the performance of the play "Bier frei" in 2004, the beer taps are also involved as the main actors in the performances of the beer theater. In 2004 they also performed their first full-length solo program "The Beer Taps as Straw Widower".

With “Chaos im Rathaus” in 2008 under the direction of Holger Böhme, for the first time no Bierhahn comedy show was staged, but a separate play. In 2009 they made their debut in the family play Das Eselsohr im Märchenbuch . In February 2010, the performance of a second premiere play within a series of games marked another novelty in the history of the Radeberger Beer Theater. With SOS Malzau , the family saga of the Backentals was spun on, but this time in one piece from the pen of Bierhahn Blum and for the first time without the other main actor Peter Flache alias "Backe". The following month the “Kur (z) program” by the duo Hombsch and Blum premiered. Also in 2010 the beer taps presented themselves as the saviors of the German hit . In the following years, Blum and Hombsch concentrated on stage pieces in which they were supplemented by other artists, so that no solo program of the duo has premiered since 2010.
