The journal Die Denkmalpflege is the continuation of the journals Die Denkmalpflege , Denkmalpflege und Heimatschutz , the magazine for the preservation of monuments and German art and monument preservation . It is published by Deutsches Kunstverlag and is published by the Association of State Monument Preservators in the Federal Republic of Germany . Currently, two issues are generally published each year.
The oldest predecessor magazine , which already bore the name Die Denkmalpflege , which is used again today , appeared from 1899 to 1922 and was published by the "Editing of the Zentralblatt der Bauverwaltung " at Wilhelm Ernst & Sohn in Berlin . From 1917 to 1922 , the journal Heimatschutz-Chronik was published by the German Association of Heimatschutz in Bremen as a supplement to their main journal Heimatschutz . Both magazines were merged from 1923 and appeared until 1929 under the name Monument Preservation and Homeland Protection , published by the Prussian Ministry of Finance and the Ministry for Science, Art and Education in conjunction with the German Association of Homeland Security in the Berlin publishing house Hackebeil.
From 1926 to 1929 the magazine for monument preservation was published in Vienna . In 1930 the magazine for the preservation of historical monuments and heritage protection and the magazine for the preservation of monuments were merged as Die Denkmalpflege . In 1934 the magazine was named German Art and Monument Preservation . In 1939 the magazine included the leaflet for stone protection . For one year, 1946, the magazine was named Die Kunstpflege . The publication of the magazine was discontinued until 1951 and was continued again from 1952 under the title German Art and Monument Preservation . In 1994 the magazine was renamed Die Denkmalpflege again .
Today, Die Denkmalpflege counts the years of monument preservation and heritage protection , German art and monument preservation and the journal for monument preservation extra. The preservation of monuments is based on the lowest number of the magazine German Art and Monument Preservation . The scientific journal was published in 2014 in its 72nd year (= 107th year of the journal “ Denkmalpflege und Heimatschutz” ; 78th year of the journal for monument preservation ; 72nd year of the journal German art and monument preservation ).
