Die Gespenster von Flatterfels is a 26-part children's series that was produced in four blocks from 1992 to 1996.
action
Fritz, himself a five-hundred-year-old ghost and son of Franziska from the knight family of those von Flatterfels and the knight Willibald, who was initially believed to be lost, met the flower fairy Violetta and the woodie woodie on his first day trip. The two crooks Ede and Paul, who suspect a treasure at Flatterfels Castle and, even after repeated spooks, do not allow themselves to be finally driven away by Franziska, play another major role. The two even send their nephew Tom to Flatterfels as a detective. He befriends Violetta, but puts Fritz in mortal danger, because he falls into the water through his fault, which means almost death for ghosts. Only a spell of the singing toad Bukfonia can save Fritz now, but Tom holds them prisoner. Furthermore, Violetta is looking for a suitable man for her mother Amaryllis and seems to have found him in the florist Eleusius Engel, but of course there are problems. Fritz is turned into a cuddly toy for little Clara in between, but can also accomplish some heroic deeds. In the last episode, Fritz tries to find out why he and his parents became ghosts. He learns that the ancestors of the crooks Ede and Paul, Edoardo and Paulus, belonged to the retinue of the robber count Waldemarr. He dueled with Fritz's father Willibald and was defeated. In revenge, Waldemarr set fire to Flatterfels Castle and placed a curse on it so that the inhabitants became ghosts.
