The Hengstmann brothers

The Hengstmann brothers are a cabaret duo. It consists of the brothers Sebastian (born October 26, 1978) and Tobias Hengstmann (born August 6, 1981) from Magdeburg . Her father is the Magdeburg cabaret artist Frank Hengstmann .

Since 2003 the duo has been on the road with various programs all over Germany. In the past, the duo has mainly made guest appearances in the Magdeburg Zwickmühle , briefly (2008) in the venue of the cabaret memorial in the Hundertwasserhaus Magdeburg . Since November 2008, both brothers and their father have been running their own cabaret venue on Breiten Weg in Magdeburg: ... after Hengstmanns .

style

In addition to the usual pillars of political satire, the brothers' programs are often based on the relationship between the two of them. The situation “big brother explains little brother” is often used as a hook.

Both brothers play instruments and were active in bands. The programs benefit from this, since in addition to political-satirical scenes, corresponding songs are also performed.
