Die Kolonne is a German literary magazine that was published by Wolfgang Jess Verlag in Dresden from 1929 to 1932 . The editors were A. Artur Kuhnert and Martin Raschke .

The magazine was the organ of several young writers who were disappointed by the economic and political events of the day and who withdrew to what they saw as constant areas of nature, which was also accompanied by criticism of the New Objectivity . The focus of the magazine was therefore on so-called nature poetry .

The magazine, which was subtitled “Newspaper of the Young Group Dresden” in the first year, has appeared in a total of nineteen issues in irregular succession. Circulation numbers are not known.

Notable contributors include Emil Belzner , Richard Billinger , Günter Eich , Peter Huchel (who received the column's poetry prize in 1932 for his collection “Der Knabenteich”), Hermann Kasack , Theodor Kramer , Horst Lange (who also won the column's poetry prize in 1932 was awarded), Elisabeth Langgässer , Oskar Loerke , Eberhard Meckel , Friedrich Schnack , Paul Zech and Guido Zernatto .
