Book 1
The first broadcast of the first twelve episodes (Book 1: Air ) was from April 14 to June 23, 2012 on the US broadcaster Nickelodeon . The German-language first broadcast of the first book ( air ) was broadcast by the German-language Nickelodeon broadcasters from August 26 to November 11, 2012.
On the day the second book first aired, a 10-minute summary of book one aired on Nickelodeon. A 34-minute version was later released on Blu-ray and streaming platforms. The narrator is Tenzin, voiced by JK Simmons . A German translation of the abstract was not sent or published.

Book 3
In July 2012, Nickelodeon ordered 26 more episodes that together make up the second season. The season consists of books three and four and closes the series. The first broadcast of the first 8 episodes (Book 3: Change ) was from June 27, 2014 to July 25, 2014 on the US broadcaster Nickelodeon . Due to the lower ratings in the US, the series was only released online, on its own website nick.com and on other streaming providers such as the iTunes Store, on a weekly basis. The German premiere took place on February 16, 2015 on pay TV on Nicktoons Germany .
