Die Mädchen-WG  is a German docu-soap and a spin-off of the Jungs-WG . It is broadcast annually alternately with the boys' flat on KiKA  . The soap consisted of five seasons with 100 episodes before five more seasons were added.

In each season, several girls between the ages of 12 and 16 will go on vacation together for four weeks without parents. The children have to organize essential parts of the vacation themselves, such as meal planning, adherence to the joint budget and household chores. The four-week stay will be broadcast in 20 approximately 25-minute episodes per season.

So far five seasons have been broadcast, whereby according to the official count these always have even numbers, the season numbers with odd numbers are those of the boys' flat share.

Season 1: The girls' flat share - A month without parents
The series, which was produced in a house in Cologne , was broadcast from October 25 to November 19, 2010. Participants were: Felicia, Janina, Hilla, Alina and My.

Season 2: The girls' flat share - vacation without parents
The episodes of the second season, which aired from November 26 to December 21, 2012, were filmed on the Spanish island of Mallorca . Participants were: Bianca, Buse, Louisa, Maja and Weya.

Season 3: The girls' flat share - without parents in the snow
The episodes broadcast from January 5 to February 5, 2015 were filmed in Austria . The production company E + U TV was responsible. Participants were: Farina, Clara, Cora, Leona and Lilly.

Season 4: The girls' flat share: Summer. Sun. Parent-free
In the season broadcast from November 21, 2016, five girls aged 13 and 14 were housed in Manerba on Lake Garda ( Italy ). In social projects, physically disabled women should be supported on mountain tours and sailing. A special feature was that at least one parent of four girls came from other European countries. Participants were: Jolina , Kaya, Serena, Luna and Natalie.

Season 5: The girls' flat share in Valencia
From January 7, 2019, the fifth season was broadcast with girls between the ages of 13 and 15. Participants were Lisa, Emma, ​​Angelina, Chantal and Trang.
