The MIME * sissies

The MIME * sissies are a German cabaret duo made up of the actress and theater pedagogue Cornelia Fleck and the speaker Elke Koepping . The duo was founded in Berlin in 2013 .

Content

In their stage acts, street actions and films, the MIME * sissies deal with topics from the field of gender theory and diversity , such as equal pay and opportunities, the quota of women , but also with the second women's movement, in a satirical exaggeration . In 2015, on Equal Pay Day, in cooperation with Watch-Salon, the blog of the female journalists' association, the action film "Glue you one!" In 2016 and 2017 they developed street theater actions for Equal Pay Day with the Munich-based campaign alliance Equal Pay Day, which was initiated by Business and Professional Women (BPW) Germany e. V. was created and cooperates with the city council commission for equality of women of the state capital Munich under the title "Red Purse Flashmob".

The MIME * sissies work together with different guests on their full-length program ichmussmein levelherunterfahren.zweinull , such as the Berlin spoken word performer Kitty Hawk, the musician Ulrich Kaon Fischer and the Munich performer Janis Queerbunt.
