The Reichsbahn was a magazine and also appeared as an official organ of the Deutsche Reichsbahn .

history

The magazine has been published since October 1924 and weekly since February 1, 1925.

It was divided into an official and an unofficial part. In the official section, among other things, there were orders that were valid for the entire Reichsbahn, as well as the operating report, financial report, technical report; Traffic report, personnel report and economic report of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft . The purpose of the magazine was to “inform the public about the situation and management of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft [to] provide a continuous picture of the development and status of the company”. In the non-official part, economic and technical papers and tenders by the Deutsche Reichsbahn appeared.

At the end of the Second World War (1945) the magazine was discontinued in the current 21st year before it could appear again in 1948 (with the 22nd year). In 1949 it was replaced by the magazine Die Bundesbahn in the area of ​​the Deutsche Bundesbahn .
