The Texas Rangers (original title: Tales of the Texas Rangers ) is an American Western - television series , created by the 1955-1959 52 episodes of 30 minutes each.

The series is about the famous police force, the Texas Rangers. The two main characters Jace Pearson and Clay Morgan appear in every episode. In contrast to the radio program of the same name by Stacey Keach, Sr. , which aired in 95 episodes on NBC between 1950 and 1952 , the period of the plot varies depending on the episode. One of the episodes takes place in the Wild West, the other in the present.
