Diezeichen der Zeit was a monthly evangelical magazine in post-war Germany and the GDR . From its inception until 1969, the editors-in-chief were Gerhard Brennecke ; then Heinz Blauert , who headed the magazine until 1989. Both editors-in-chief were directors of the Berlin Mission Society at the same time as their office .

In 1998 the magazine passed to the Lutherische Verlagshaus in Hanover , which continued the title as The Signs of the Times - Lutheran Monthly Issues. In 2000, this magazine went under the title Zeitzeichen .
