The Zipfelbuben are a three-member German party band. It was founded in Berlin in mid-2005 by three friends Timo Schulz , Dirk Ostermann and Florian Flesch . The band's musical repertoire consists mainly of catchy party hits . The first three albums of the Zipfelbuben were produced by Elephant Music . The fourth album was created in collaboration with Xtreme Sound , Earnapping and Akropolis Studios.

At the beginning of 2006 the band had their nationwide breakthrough with the single Kedeng, Kedeng! , a German version of the popular hit Per Spoor (Kedeng Kedeng) by Dutch singer Guus Meeuwis .

After the band with the title appeared in the ARD folk music show Feste der Volksmusik ( The Winter Festival of Folk Music ) in front of 7.2 million TV viewers and in the same week the residents of the Big Brother village on the TV show of the same name on RTL II had taught the associated dance, the single entered the German charts in mid-February 2006.

The second single The Devil and the Young Man , which was released in July 2006, was a cover version. The original song was written by the Swiss singer Paola . The band's debut album ( Volkspop ) was released on June 29, 2007. Between February and May 2007, the Zipfelbuben toured with Gitti and Erika through 52 cities in Germany and Austria .

In 2009 the single was released here in the jungle , which was the official anthem of the fourth season of Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! was chosen. The original In the Navy comes from the band Village People .

In 2010, the Zipfelbuben were nominated for the Echo in the category of artist / group folk music .

In 2011, the single Jetzt wird geht geht's hot , which was the official anthem of the fifth season of Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! was chosen.

In 2017, the Zipfelbuben reported back. With their title Take your legs in hand , they celebrated their comeback with Florian Silbereisen .

In 2018 the Zipfelbuben received the Ballermann Award in the Comeback category.
