Diebsturm (Grünberg)
The Diebsturm is a tower in the former city wall in Grünberg .
The teardrop-shaped tower was built around 1200 and owes its name to its long-term use as a prison . In 1895/95 it was converted into a water tower . Later it was also used as an ammunition store. The tower is 25 m high. Inside it is round. After restoration, it was converted into a lookout tower . An exhibition in the tower shows the history of the tower and the history of the city.
