Diedrich Sägelken

Diedrich Sägelken (* 1816 ; † 1891 ) was a German educator and parliamentarian.

Life

Diedrich Sägelken studied at the universities of Jena and Halle . In 1837 he became a member of the Corps Thuringia Jena . In 1838 he joined the Corps Saxonia Jena and in 1839/40 the Corps Saxonia Halle . After graduating, he became a teacher. He was the rector of the high school in Idar and Rodenkirchen . Most recently he lived in retirement in Varel in Oldenburg .

From 1860 to 1863, Sägelken was a member of the Oldenburg State Parliament .
