Diego Vicente , full name Diego Sebastián Vicente Pereyra , (born July 19, 1998 in Montevideo , Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.84 meter tall midfielder Vicente has played in youth football since at least 2012 at River Plate Montevideo . That year he was on the team in the Septima División. In 2013 he was active in the Sexta División team. In 2015 he joined the Quinta División team via the U-16s in the following year. In the first division team he made his debut in the Apertura 2015 in a 4-0 home win against Villa Teresa on December 5, 2015 in the Primera División , when he was substituted on by coach Juan Ramón Carrasco in the 64th minute for Ángel Rodríguez . In the 2015/16 season he played four first division encounters (no goal) and one game (no goal) in the 2016 Copa Libertadores . During the 2016 season he played eight times (no goal) in the league.

National team

Vicente made his debut in the Uruguayan U-17 team under coach Santiago Ostolaza in a 2-0 win in the friendly international match against Argentina on November 25, 2014. He was a member of the squad at the U-17 South American Championship 2015 in Paraguay , at the Uruguayan 5th place. Before the start of the tournament, he had played a total of two international matches in the U-17 (no goal). In the course of the tournament itself, three more, personally goalless international appearances followed.
