The MA
Diéma is a municipality in the Kayes region in western Mali . Diéma is the administrative seat of the district of the same name . At the 2009 census, the community had 30,470 inhabitants (1998: 19,297) on an area of 1183 km².
The community is divided into 16 parts. In addition to the Diéma center, these are the towns of Tinkaré, Kana, Guemou, Fangouné Bambara, Fangouné Kagoro, Fangouné Massassi, Dampa, Lacklal, Garambougou, Bougoudéré Niandé, Bougoudéré Mahomet, Bilibani, Mambourké, Madina-Maure and Nafadji.
As part of development cooperation, there is a partnership with the French municipality of Chilly-Mazarin .
