These Kaminskis - We'll lower you! is a black humor documentary sitcom produced by ZDFneo . The series depicts events in a funeral home run by three chaotic half-brothers. The pilot was broadcast in 2013, with a further six episodes following in 2014.

The three half-brothers Bernd, Michael and Marco Kaminski are absolute chaos and couldn't be more different. The nervous Bernd is plagued by neuroses, Michael shy and naive and Marco a party-obsessed fool. Then there is Marco's girlfriend Sandy, a tanned, not very deep blonde. Together they take over a shabby funeral home due to the lack of alternative job offers in Cologne . Unfortunately, they are absolute laypeople in this trade and get from one catastrophe to the next, but do not lose their self-confidence and their chaotic creativity. Under the motto “Show me someone who doesn't die!” They take care of their clientele more or less piously.

The series was designed as a parody of the docu-soaps distributed on the private channels . Hand-held cameras and visibly attached microphones were often used, and the actions were often accompanied by voice- overs. It was broadcast as part of the TVLab television program .
