Sven Nagel

Sven Nagel (born October 12, 1970 in Kiel ) is a German director and author . He lives in Cologne .

biography

Nagel made his first Super-8 films at the age of 12, a VHS-C camcorder at the age of 16 and a 16mm camera at the age of 23. With his first 16mm short film "Die Scheinheiligen" he won the audience award "The Golden Nose" at the Göttingen Short Film Festival in 1995.

From 1993 to 2000 he toured Germany with the cabaret duo "Die Handwerker".

Sven Nagel worked as a writer for the Today Show, Die Wochenshow , Switch Reloaded and Friday Night News . Until 2008 Sven Nagel and Attik Kargar could be seen with the sketch show Kargar meets the nail on Comedy Central.

Nagel directed and directed various programs such as Today Show, MannSieber, Pussyterror, Olaf Schubert improves the world, Occupy School and Old Ass Bastard.

In 2014, Nagel directed the undertaker sitcom These Kaminskis for zdfneo , for which he also contributed scripts.

In 2017 he developed the drama series Lobbyistin with Rainer Marquass and Mika Kallwass (including Rosalie Thomass ), which ran on zdfneo in autumn 2017 and got good ratings. He also directed "Lobbyist".

In December 2017, Nagel directed the German adaptation of the Finnish drama series Sekasin.

In spring 2018 he directed the ZDF series Friesland and the ARD satirical program Kroymann . In 2019 he shot a Friesland-Wilsberg special on Norderney Wellenbrecher , as well as new episodes of the Grimme Prize- endowed satire series Kroymann .
