Dieter Antoni

Dieter Antoni (born June 23, 1942 in Znaim , Reichsgau Niederdonau ) is an Austrian civil servant and former politician ( SPÖ ). Antoni was a member of the Austrian National Council between 1990 and 2002 .

education and profession

Antoni attended elementary school from 1948 to 1952 and then grammar school until 1956. He continued his training from 1956 to 1962 at a teacher training institute and then did his military service in 1962. Antoni studied pedagogy, psychology and folklore at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 1972 and graduated in 1976 with the academic degree Dr. phil. from.

After completing his studies, Antoni worked as an elementary, secondary and secondary school teacher in the Carinthian school service from 1962 to 1975 and from 1975 headed a student hostel and worked at the center for school experiments and school development of the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Sport in Klagenfurt. In 1990 he was promoted to head of this center and in 1994 he was appointed Ministerial Councilor.

politics

Antoni was chairman of the SPÖ section 25 in the Klagenfurt city district and chairman of the Klagenfurt district education committee. He represented the SPÖ from November 5, 1990 to December 19, 2002 in the National Council. Antoni was education spokesman for the SPÖ parliamentary club.
