Dieter Cansier

Dieter Cansier (born February 9, 1941 in Hamburg ) is a German economist .

Life

Cansier studied economics (economics graduate 1966) at the University of Hamburg and was established in 1970 with a thesis on tax policy approaches of vendors fighting inflation to Dr. rer. pole. PhD. The work was awarded by the Scientific Society Freiburg im Breisgau. From 1970 to 1972 he was a research assistant at the University of Hamburg, in 1972 he went with his academic teacher Werner Ehrlicher to the Institute for Public Finance at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau . He later completed his habilitation there. In 1977/78 he became professor of economics , in particular finance and environmental policy, at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . He has now retired.
