Nikolaus Reinhold von Pfeilitzer called Franck , also Nikolaus Reinhold von Pfeilitzer (* 1713 in Klein Pönau in the parish of Doblen ; † March 28, 1799 in Dresden ) was an Electoral Saxon general of the infantry .

Nikolaus Reinhold was a member of the Courland noble family Pfeilitzer called Franck. His parents were the Polish and Electoral Saxon captain Georg Christoph von Pfeilitzer called Franck († after 1740) and Sophia Charlotte von Kottwitz .

Career

Pfeilitzer began his career in 1728 as a commoner in the Saxon army before he was promoted to ensign in the body regiment on foot in 1734 . He was promoted to Sousleutnant in 1735 and Prime Lieutenant in 1739, while he was also appointed Adjutant . In 1742 he became captain in the Grenadier - Company in Count Stolberg Infantry Regiment . He was promoted to major in 1754 and lieutenant colonel in the Prince Xaver infantry regiment in 1760 . Pfeilitzer rose to the position of colonel and regimental commander in 1767 . From 1771 he was inspector of the Saxon infantry and in 1774 advanced to major general . Pfeilitzer became the commandant of Dresden Neustadt in 1779 . In 1788 he was promoted to lieutenant general and finally in 1798 to general of the infantry, where he was also appointed governor of Dresden.

Pfeilitzer took part in all three Silesian wars , and in 1768 he was also awarded the Order of Saint Heinrich .

family

Pfeilitzer married Agnesa Wilhelmine von Einsiedel (1728–1790) in Prießnitz in 1747 . From the marriage a son, Xaver von Pfeilitzer called Franck (1764-1851), heir to Wachwitz and Niederpoyritz , Oberlausitzer , electoral Saxon and kk captain , emerged.
