Dieter Emrich
Dieter Emrich (born October 21, 1929 in Münster , † September 23, 2007 in Bielefeld ) was a German nuclear medicine specialist .
Emrich was emeritus holder of the chair for nuclear medicine and director of the nuclear medicine department at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen .
He was considered an outstanding academic teacher, scientist and clinician. He was one of the founders of the field of nuclear medicine in Germany. Among other things, he was an honorary member of the German Society for Nuclear Medicine (DGN).
