Dieter Gessner

Dieter Gessner (* 1940 ) is a documentary journalist. He published various works on the history of the Weimar Republic.

Life

Dieter Gessner was born in 1940. He obtained his doctorate in 1979. phil. and then worked as a documentary journalist for Der Spiegel magazine . Various works on the history of the Weimar Republic come from him. He worked, among other things, through the agricultural associations in the Weimar Republic. and also published a paper on the end of the Weimar Republic as well as a study book The Weimar Republic published in the series "Controversies about history" at the Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft .
