Dieter Krausch

Dieter Krausch is a German basketball trainer and player.

Life

In 1972 Krausch made the leap from the youth team to the men's team of Bundesliga club MTV Giessen , winning the DBB Cup in his first year . In the game year 1974/75, the development player with the Central Hesse German champions. In 1981 he left Giessen for West Berlin and became a coach at DTV Charlottenburg in the Bundesliga. Among other things, he looked after the Berliners in their first year in the top German league, 1981/82.

Krausch worked as a trainer for the women's Bundesliga club Agon Düsseldorf in 1986/87 and led the series champions of the 1980s to win the German championship that season. In 1987 he took up the position of coach at MTV Giessen, but gave it up again in the course of the 1987/88 season.
