Dieter Schneeloch

Dieter Schneeloch (born October 15, 1941 in Solingen ) is a German economist .

Life

From 1964 to 1968 he studied business administration at the Free University of Berlin with a degree in business administration . From 1968 to 1971 he was a doctoral student at the Free University of Berlin with Heinz Langen (completion of the doctoral procedure with “summa cum laude”. Title of the dissertation: “Taxation and Investment Financing”). From 1968 to 1971 he was employed by the "ATH - Allgemeine Treuhand-Gesellschaft", as their Berlin tax department and as an auditor. In 1971 he passed his tax advisor exam and set up a business as an independent tax advisor in Berlin. From 1971 to 1977 he was a habilitation candidate at the Free University of Berlin, at the same time assistant professor and, finally, private lecturer ; Awarded the venia legendi . Subject of the habilitation thesis: “Comparisons of tax burdens. Individual economic analyzes of selected tax structuring options in the case of a single person and in the case of spouses ”, Supervisor: Peter Bareis . From 1973 to 1988 he was an examiner for the tax advisor exam in Berlin. From 1975 to 1979 was a member of the board of the Berlin Chamber of Tax Advisors. From 1978 to 2010 he taught as a full professor at the FernUniversität in Hagen , where he held the chair in “Business Administration, especially Taxation and Auditing”. In 1991 he turned down the offer to the University of Göttingen .
