Dieter Schwampe

Dieter Schwampe (* 1957 ) is a German lawyer and university professor.

Life

After studying law and Japanese studies in Konstanz , Bonn and Hamburg and doing his doctorate in Charterers' Liability Insurance , he has been with Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein since 1985 . He became a partner in 1988 and was managing partner of the firm from 2000 to 2013. In 2014 he became a professor (§ 17 HmbHG) for marine insurance law and transport law at the University of Hamburg .
