Dieter Skiba
Dieter Skiba (born September 28, 1938 ) is a former officer of the Ministry for State Security (MfS) who is active as an author today.
Skiba worked for the Ministry of State Security from 1958 to 1990: from 1971 in the rank of captain, from 1975 as major and from 1981 as lieutenant colonel. Skiba has a doctorate. From 1968 he worked for the Department IX / 11, which was responsible for the investigation of Nazi and war crimes, and which he had headed since August 1, 1989. He publishes on his previous work.
