Dietmar Hoffmann (born November 8, 1955 ) is a former German football player on the position of midfielder .

Among other things, he completed a game in the Bundesliga for Kickers Offenbach .

Life

Hoffmann already played for Kickers Offenbach in his youth . With the A-Juniors Offenbach and their coach Engelbert Kraus , he took part in the A-Youth Championship in 1972/73 , in the final of which they moved in. There they were defeated by the A-Juniors of VfB Stuttgarts 1: 3 in Munich on July 8, 1973 , although they had led 1-0 from the 6th to the 30th minute of the game through a goal by Ziemer. Hoffmann played in this final for the full season.

For the 1973/74 season he joined the first team squad. Offenbach finished 10th in the final table at the end of this season. Hoffmann only played once in the 34 games, on matchday 33, May 11, 1974, at and against FC Bayern Munich , where his team won 0: 1 with a goal by Gerd Müller in the 75th minute of the game lost. Hoffmann came on as a substitute for Peter Berg in the 81st minute .

Also in the 1974/75 seasons , when Offenbach took 8th place in the final table, and in 1975/76 Hoffmann was still in the Offenbach squad. At the end of the season they were only on 17th of 18 places in the table, which meant relegation to the second division. Hoffmann was not used in both seasons.
