Dietmar Weihrich (born October 30, 1964 in Gießen ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Weihrich graduated from high school in 1983 and trained as a gardener in 1987. He has been a graduate engineer for landscape planning since 1993, after having already worked as a landscape gardener. From 1993 to 2004 he was department head for landscape development in the State Office for Environmental Protection Saxony-Anhalt , then until 2010 department head for sustainable development and since 2010 head of the staff unit at LAU Saxony-Anhalt. This office is currently suspended.

Weihrich became a member of the Greens in 1996. He sat from 2004 to 2015 in the city council of Halle (Saale) , where he was chairman of the Greens from 2009–2011 and 2012–2014. From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt . On July 27, 2015, he resigned from the state parliament after being elected as a member of the Senate of the State Audit Office of Saxony-Anhalt . In this function he is head of Department III of this authority.
