Dietrich Beelitz
Dietrich Beelitz (born March 14, 1906 in Diedenhofen , Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine , † September 6, 2002 ) was a German officer , most recently major general in the general staff . In the Wehrmacht he served in World War II as chief of the general staff in the 3rd Panzer Army from June 2, 1942 to November 5, 1943 and as chief of the general staff in the 10th Army from November 1, 1944 to the end of the war in Italy on May 2, 1945.
After the war he lived as a manufacturer in Stuttgart .
