Dietrich Mann

Dietrich Mann (born February 11, 1935 in Berlin , † September 30, 2000 in Hermannsburg ) was a German Protestant theologian .

After studying law, completing his legal clerkship and obtaining a doctorate in law, Mann took up a degree in theology, which he also completed with a doctorate. After a short period as a parish pastor in Kiel , he went to the Hermannsburg Missionary Seminar in 1971 as a lecturer in the New Testament . In 1979 he took over the leadership of the mission seminar and held it until 1993.

Mann was married and had three children. His son is the Göttingen defense attorney Johannes Mann.
