Dietrich Stael

Dietrich Stael (* in the 14th century; † 1450 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Dietrich Stael came from the Rhenish - Westphalian knight family Stael and was the son of Dietrich Stael zu Loburg and his wife Kunigunde von Bevern. In 1413 there was a dispute between him and Winold von Twickel over the cathedral priest , which ended with a trial. Dietrich was first mentioned in a document on October 17, 1420 as the canon of Münster. In 1427 he obsolete studying in Erfurt . In 1438 Dietrich owned the Archdeaconate of Warendorf. He remained in both offices until his death.
