Dietrich Taube

Dietrich dove (* 19th November 1932 in rollers in Upper Silesia ) is a German actor, theater director and - intendant .

Life

Taube attended high school "Am Zwinger" in Breslau . After the expulsion , he continued his school attendance in Altena , where he passed the Abitur. He began studying German, history and French at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , but switched to acting and was trained at the Otto Falckenberg School from 1954 to 1956 .

From 1957 to 1964 he worked at the Städtische Bühnen Freiburg as actor and director as well as assistant to the artistic director. In 1964 he became senior theater director of the drama division of the Giessen City Theater , where he became director in 1966 and ran the business of the Giessen City Theater GmbH. In 1978 he took over the management of the Mainz Theater . He held the office until 1989. In 1990 he moved to Erfurt, where he was director of the Erfurt Theater and its general director from 1991 to 2002. There he founded a children's and youth theater ensemble in 1994 and the DomStufen Festival in the same year .

Among other things, he published in 1978 with Henry Glade in the "Blätter der Carl-Zuckmayer-Gesellschaft" Des Teufels General - still up to date? and wrote several plays.
