Diggiloo (show)
Diggiloo is an annual summer outdoor music tour in Sweden . A number of Swedish pop and hit singers appear in it with the large live band. Own titles and cover songs are played.
history
The concert series was invented in 2003 by musician and presenter Lasse Holm . At that time he was still the moderator of the TV quiz Diggiloo at SVT . The term Diggiloo comes from the winning title Diggi Loo / Diggi Ley of the Herrey’s from the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 . After the success of the first three shows in Båstad , 17 shows were played across Sweden in 2004, and this increased to over 20 in the later years.
In 2012 Lasse Holm announced his retirement due to age. That year the show was shown on television for the first time.

The artists who appeared in the shows include, for example, Lasse Holm , Lotta Engberg , Kikki Danielsson , Magnus Bäcklund , Amy Diamond , Elisabeth Andreassen , Jessica Andersson , Thomas Petersson and many more.
