Digimind is a global social media monitoring and competitive intelligence company that provides its customers, other companies or marketing agencies with information about their competitive market position. The company was founded in 1998. In 2019 Digimind was represented with 200 employees at locations in North America , Europe , Asia and Africa .

history

In 1998 Digimind was founded by Paul Vivant, Patrice François, Gerald Navarette and Romain Laboisse in Grenoble, France. Within a year they launched vStrat, a collaborative market intelligence software tool for Lotus Notes (now IBM Notes). In 1999, the Strategic Finder, a meta search engine, was launched. By the end of this year, Digimind had reached more than 60,000 users.

In 2003 the company brought Digimind Evolution, an integrated competitive intelligence application, onto the market. The subsequent success of the company and expansion into English and French-speaking markets enabled the opening of an R&D center in Rabat in 2007 and the opening of an office in Cambridge, MA in 2008. In 2007, the company launched Digimind 7, an application that provides real-time visual analysis of news.

In 2012, the company created WhoGotFunded.com, which is used to track global developments and trends in venture capital . With regular updates every minute, WhoGotFunded offers its users the latest information on start-ups with high potential, venture capital companies and VC transactions.

In 2013 Digimind Social was introduced, which represents the company's first foray into the field of social media monitoring. Digimind Social is equipped with a platform for real-time detection and analysis of online presences, trends and influence.

Digimind Intelligence

Digiminds Competitive Intelligence is in its tenth version. Digimind Intelligence is geared towards corporate customers and provides them with insights into customer markets. The software is primarily used to monitor competitors, new trends, technologies and daily changes. The core functions include the automatic search, extraction and categorization of large amounts of data, real-time analysis and an integrated collaboration platform for end users.

Digimind Social

Digimind Social is a social media monitoring (SMM) tool that was introduced in 2013. The software calculates the impact of the score on tweets, blogs, articles, videos and other social media posts using a range of metrics and algorithms. Digimind Social is enterprise-grade and cheaper than the flagship software. Users can compare campaigns, brands, trends, competitors or influencers and create their own tags that are used to measure consumer sentiment and analyze data. In addition, Digimind Social enables users to generate automatic reports using native or custom templates.

Awards

In 2013 Digimind was awarded the European IST Prize. In 2005–2008, Digmind was named one of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies by the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA . In 2010, Digiminds and its partners received the SIIA CODiE award for workflow integration.
