Digital Audio-Visual Council

The Digital Audio-Visual Council (DAVIC) was a non-profit organization based in Geneva with over 220 member companies from around 25 countries.

The association represented all areas of the audiovisual industry, from the manufacture of computers , entertainment electronics and telecommunications equipment to service providers in the fields of broadcasting , telecommunications and cable television ( CATV ) to government organizations and research institutions .

The organization existed from 1994 to 1999. According to its statute, it was closed after five years.
