Dilber Doğan

Dilber Doğan (* 1961 in Zara , Sivas ) is a famous Turkish, Alevi singer.

She was born and raised in the village of Belentarla; she herself came from a very musical Alevi family. She completed elementary school in Zara, and in 1977 she went to Istanbul . In the 1980s she performed as a singer at weddings. She took lessons from various music teachers. In 1983 she released her first album Değirmen'im Dönerim .

Together with Asli Gül she recorded seven albums under the name Anadolu Kizlari . It made both very famous. Her songs are mostly about Sivas , Alevism and Anatolia . Together with her son Seyit Ali Doğan , she now appears abroad at Alevi festivals. B. in Germany , Switzerland , Austria , France , Belgium and Luxembourg . Dilber Doğan is one of the most successful cassette stars.
