Dilip Barua (born February 28, 1949 ) is the general secretary of the Communist Party of Bangladesh ( Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal (Marksbadi-Leninbadi) ). He has been a member of the Communist Party since 1969. He was imprisoned several times during his long political career. In January 2009 he became Minister of Industry in Hasina Wajed's cabinet .
