David Gamble
David Gamble (born June 24, 1955 ) is a British film editor .
Life
Gamble initially worked as an assistant editor in the late 1980s. Starting with Stadtgeschichten (1993) he was active as an independent editor, initially for several television productions.
For his work on Shakespeare in Love , Gamble was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 for Best Editing . He also received the British Academy Film Award for his performance . There was also a nomination for the Eddie Award and the Golden Satellite Award .
