Dimitra Asilian (born July 10, 1972 in Piraeus ) is a former Greek water polo player .
Career
Asilian began playing water polo at Olympiakos SFP at the age of six . In total, she was active in the club for 29 years until she ended her career in the 2006/07 season. Asilian is the top scorer in the Greek women's water polo league with 703 goals.
In 1999 in Prato she finished fifth with the Greek water polo team at the European Championships and scored eight goals during the tournament.
Her greatest achievement was winning the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
