Dina Maksutova

Dina Maksutowa (born December 7, 1969 ) is a former Kyrgyz judoka who competed for the Soviet Union until 1991.

Dina Maksutowa competed until 1992 with a half-light weight of up to 52 kilograms. Then she fought in the lightweight up to 56 kilograms and at the end of her career she moved up to the light middleweight division.

At the European Championships in 1992 Maksutova, playing for the Commonwealth of Independent States , won two fights and lost two fights, in the end she finished seventh. She was also appointed to the United Team for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics . There she won her first round fight against Bulgarian Emilia Watschewa by Ippon, in the second fight she was eliminated.

After the end of the Soviet Union, Dina Maksutowa stood for Kyrgyzstan. At the Judo World Championships in 1995 she was eliminated from the lightweight in the first round, 1997 from the light middleweight division.
