Ding Feng

Ding Feng ( Chinese  丁奉 , Pinyin Dīng Fèng , * 190 in today's He Qui ; † 271 ) was a well-known Wu general of ancient China at the time of the Three Kingdoms .

Ding Feng was known as a brave warrior and a skilled strategist. In his youth he took part in many battles and thus earned the reputation of the bravest man in the army. Sun Quan named him "General Who Exceeds All Others" and Lord of the Capital District.

At the end of the three kingdoms period he defeated the Wei -General Zhuge Dan and was appointed "general who defeated the bandits" and "Lord of Anfeng".

After Sun Xiu ascended the throne, Ding Feng killed the tyrant Sun Chen. For this he received the title "Great General and District Guard on the Left and Right". He was also awarded the Xu Zhou Protector's Seal.

After Sun Xiu's death, Ding Feng welcomed Sun Hao as the new emperor. He was appointed "Great Minister of War" and "General of the Left".
