Ding Feng ( Chinese  丁 峰 , Pinyin Dīng Fēng ; born March 19, 1987 in Changzhou ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .

successes

Ding Feng competed with the rapid-fire pistol in the London 2012 Olympics. With 588 points he qualified as runner-up for the final, in which five shots had to be fired in eight series, with the shooter with the lowest total number of points being eliminated from the fourth series. Ding held up until the penultimate round, before he scored a point less than the runner-up Vijay Kumar with three goals and thus won the bronze medal behind Leuris Pupo and Kumar. In 2010 he became world champion in the team competition with the rapid-fire pistol in Munich . Four years later he secured the silver medal in the team competition with the standard pistol in Granada . In addition, he won the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou with the team in the competition with the rapid-fire pistol also the gold medal. In 2014 in Incheon , he took first place in both individual and team competitions with the standard pistol. He also remained victorious in the team competition with the large-caliber pistol.
