Dino Cinieri

Dino Cinieri (born July 9, 1955 in Firminy ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2002 .

Cinieri founded an insurance company in 1979 at the age of 24. In 1996 he was recognized for his achievements as an entrepreneur by the magazine Le Nouvel Économiste . When he was elected Mayor of Firminy in 2001, he gave up his entrepreneurial activity and sold his company. In the parliamentary elections in 2002 , he stood for the UMP in the fourth constituency of the Loire department and entered the National Assembly. At the end of November 2012, Cinieri was one of around 70 MPs who, with their leader François Fillon, split off from the UMP group in parliament and founded their own group under the name R-UMP.
