Dipeptidyl peptidases are enzymes from the group of exopeptidases which hydrolytically split off the two terminal amino acids from longer-chain peptides as dipeptides . Dipeptidyl peptidases thus form a subgroup of the peptidases . Representatives of the dipeptidyl peptidases are z. B. the dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (synonym DPP4, CD26 ) or the angiotensin-converting enzyme (synonym ACE, CD143).
