Dipu Ghosh

Dipu Ghosh (born June 17, 1940 ) is a retired Indian badminton player .

Career

Dipu Ghosh won his first national title in India in 1964 with Raman Ghosh . In 1967 both won again in the men's doubles. Dipu Ghosh also won the mixed competition with Sarojini Gogte . In 1969 and 1970 he won doubles again with Raman Ghosh. In the first year he was also successful in singles. In 1971 he won his last national title in doubles with Suresh Goel .

In 1969 he was awarded the Arjuna Award . In the 1980s he worked as the Indian national coach, among other things.
