Face-to-face study

In the case of face-to-face studies , also known as direct studies , in contrast to distance learning, the academic learning and research of the degree mainly takes place in courses on the campus of a university .

Attendance in courses at the university is given in hours per week.

In face-to-face studies, services that go beyond attendance at courses and can be acquired outside of the university are usually to be provided, e.g. B. Exam preparation, reading, presentations, term papers and internships. Since the university reform as part of the Bologna Process , the entire assumed workload in the European higher education area has been measured in ECTS points.
