Dirk Eisenbiegler

Dirk Eisenbiegler (* 1967 in Karlsruhe ) is a German computer scientist and has been a professor for computer science and distributed applications at the Faculty of Digital Media at Furtwangen University since 2002 .

Life

Eisenbiegler studied computer science at the University of Karlsruhe from 1988 to 1993 . After completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Computer Science Research Center for three years . He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Karlsruhe for two more years until he received his doctorate there in 1998. After receiving his doctorate, he worked for IBM Germany Development GmbH for four years . Eisenbiegler has been a professor at the Faculty of Digital Media at Furtwangen University since September 2002 , where he also served as dean from 2010 to 2014 .

Research and areas of work

Dirk Eisenbiegler published publications in the fields of computer science, distributed applications and digital systems during his research . His research work was continued in his professorship at the Faculty of Digital Media at Furtwangen University, where he also teaches with a focus on programming and distributed applications.
