Dirk Fass

Dirk Fass (* 1955 ) is a German writer .

Dirk Faß lives in Großenkneten , is an archivist and researches regional history . In the meantime, the writer has written over 30 books and triggered an archaeological emergency excavation . It started with journalism. At the beginning of the 1990s, Fass began to work part-time to write articles for the "Nordwest-Zeitung". Eventually he immersed himself more and more in regional history and wrote his first book. In the meantime, Dirk Faß has won the Oldenburg Culture Prize . A few years ago he found some 3000 year old shards - and thus triggered an emergency excavation. A pre-Christian settlement was discovered.
